Kelly Library isn’t going to win any beauty awards, its early-2000s office aesthetic, combined with a brutalist exterior, makes it one of the least visually appealing libraries on campus. But looks aside, it’s a fairly practical study spot on the northeast end of campus, close to Bay and Wellesley, and generally quiet enough to focus even without designated silent zones. You can chat a bit without disturbing anyone, and the foot traffic is moderate, so it never feels overwhelmingly busy. One of Kelly’s biggest strengths is how food-friendly it is: there are no restrictions on eating, and students openly snack everywhere. Plus, the attached Kelly’s Café runs 24/7, making late-night study sessions much more bearable. The bathrooms are clean but very average, and the charging situation isn’t ideal since most outlets are along the walls, leaving many tables without easy access. Temperature is comfortable, the hours stretch late into the night, and overall, while the space looks dated, Kelly remains a solid and convenient option for long study days (and nights).

Just too ugly but better termperature control.
