One of the largest and most visually striking libraries in the city, featuring massive open spaces, curved architectural lines, red accents, and greenery that gives the building a unique personality. With multiple floors of study tables, it looks impressive and feels expansive. However, its location near Yonge and Bloor makes it a bit of a trek for UofT students. As a public library, the Wi-Fi can be unreliable and slow, and the constant foot traffic means there’s always movement and noise. Quiet zones exist, but most areas allow conversation, giving the space a lively, bustling vibe. Security is strict, especially about food — even sealed snacks can get you in trouble. Despite its size and visual appeal, the overall convenience factor is low for long study sessions. Still, it’s a cool spot to check out if you want a big, iconic library experience.

Great vibes but no eating and Wi-Fi is hit or miss.
