When I was applying to professional programs, the information I needed was scattered across forums, buried on school websites or locked behind expensive prep courses. Students with a mentor, a paid course or someone in the field to ask had a real head start. A lot of us didn’t.
I made Master Student so that anyone applying has the same starting point: free practice tests, plain-language guides to each school’s requirements, and study advice that actually helped me. No paywall and no sign-up.

Who’s behind Master Student
I’m Jack Rzepka, the founder of masterstudent.ca. I graduated from McMaster University’s Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) program in 2021, and I was accepted to several Canadian dental and medical schools, including the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry and Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine.
I went through the same applications you’re facing: supplementary applications, the DAT and MCAT, Casper and interviews. Master Student is the resource I wish I’d had, and it will always be free.
How we check our figures
- Admission figures come from official sources: the schools’ own admissions pages, AFMC for medical schools, and OUInfo for Ontario undergraduate programs.
- Every updated guide lists its sources at the bottom, so you can check any number yourself.
- The “Last checked” date at the top of a guide shows when its figures were last verified against those sources.
- Schools change their rules every cycle, so always confirm on the official site before you apply.
