All students applying to the University of Pittsburgh Dental School must have completed at least a minimum of 3 years of study (90 semester hours / 135 quarter hours). Students must also complete the following prerequisite courses listed below:

University of Pittsburgh Dental School Requirements: Letters of Recomendation
Letters of Recommendation must be submitted to this University, and must be either:
- From a Pre-Health Advisory Committee (preferred)
- Three (3) letters from separate individuals, two (2) of which must be a professor/advisor/mentor.
