*A semester credit hour is an academic unit earned for fifteen 50-minute sessions of classroom instruction with a normal expectation of two hours of outside study for each class session. Typically, a three-semester credit hour course meets three 50-minute sessions per week for fifteen weeks for a total of 45 sessions. AP credits are not accepted, however, community college credits will be accepted for both required courses and electives.

Rutgers School of Dental Medicine Requirements: Letter of References

Letters of Evaluation are required by the Rutgers Dental School. There are two options that are accepted by this school:

  • ONE Pre-Health Advisors Committee letter (preferred)

  • Three letters from faculty (two must be from the sciences)
