AP credits are accepted if they are accepted by the student’s undergraduate institution. AP credit is not accepted for the biology prerequisite. In lieu of the biology prerequisite, UB SDM will accept upper-level biology courses.

Community college credits are accepted, however, the admissions team strongly prefers prerequisites and electives from a four-year college.

The UB SDM will be flexible in the graded requirement for prerequisite coursework if an applicant attends a school that made system-wide grading changes. In these situations, online labs and pass/fail grades will be accepted.
