All students applying to the UIC Dental School must have earned a bachelor’s degree conferred no later than June of the matriculation year from an accredited United States college or university located in the US. Students must also complete the following prerequisite courses listed below:

UIC College of Dentistry Requirements: Letters of Recomendation
This dental school requires three letters of recommendation. One committee letter of recommendation will satisfy the three-letter requirement.
The university strongly recommends submitting two academic references, preferably from two science professors. The third letter should be submitted by a dental professional (non-relative) that the applicant has shadowed.
It is expected that letters are on professional letterhead with a signature.
