UOttawa Medical School Requirements and Acceptance Rate

UofT Medical School Requirements and Acceptance Rate

The Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto is one of 17 medical schools in Canada. It is one of the oldest medical schools in Canada and has access to some of the best hospitals in Ontario.

McMaster Medical School Requirements and Acceptance Rate

The Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University is one of 17 medical schools in Canada. It is known for being one of two 3-year long medical programs as well as pioneering both the CASPer and Mulitple-Mini-Interview Assessments.

The CASPer test is a fast-paced, situational judgement test compromising of 12 scenarios in 75 min. To do your best you must:

  1. Understand the CASPer test and how it is scored
  2. Have a clear and practiced process and mind set that you need for the day of the test, which is discussed below

What is the CASPer Test?

The Computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics, better known as CASPer is an online situational judgment test (SJT) designed to assess how test takers approach real-life scenarios and problems. Modelled by the research and implementation of SJTs at the McMaster University Medical School, this test is now highly weighted in the application for many professional programs including medical and dental schools.
